Cleanup, compost & creative upcycling
Join us at the Miami Beach Compost Hub on 84th and Collins with a beach cleanup guided by Bye Bye Plastic. After the cleanup, stick around for design printing and upcycling workshop with Sierra Club Florida & Living Studio, where you can learn simple ways to creatively refresh clothing to reduce waste and extend the life of what we already have. As always, pick up a bag of compost to take home!
Art by the Sea
Come print with us and celebrate World Water Day with Big Blue & You! It’s a free, family-friendly festival where art, science, and ocean conservation come together by the water. Join us for a day of creativity, hands-on learning, and community connection all inspired by the ocean.
Turtlepalooza
Living Studio will be tabling at Turtlepalooza with The Water Column, an interactive storytelling and mapping project about our relationship with the ocean. Visitors are invited to share a personal memory, reflection, or story about the sea. This could be a moment of wonder, connection, or an experience that shaped how they see marine life and coastal places.
These stories become part of a growing interactive map. You can also explore reflections shared by others from different places and perspectives. The Water Column creates space for gratitude, emotion, and human connection to the waters that sea turtles and many other species call home.
Stop by to add your voice, read others’ stories, and take a moment to reflect on why the ocean matters to wildlife, communities, and you.
